We enjoyed eating here on 2 evenings last week. The food and service were excellent, a varied menu. All the staff were very welcoming , professional, efficient and friendly. Excellent ! We will be back. Thanks Claire and the team.
Had a great dinner here. Typical classic Italian restaurant with all the usual dishes and some interesting specials. Chicken liver starter was excellent, as were all three pasta dishes we chose. Wine list is extensive if a little expensive. Good range of beers. Part of the place is up a set of stairs on the first floor. Something to be aware of if you find stairs an issue. Would recommend reserving a table as it was very busy when we were there. Despite this service was quick and friendly. for what we had it was also good value.

Staying in Windermere and walked past this restaurant and thought the menu looked good. Called same day and luckily managed to get a table for that evening, though it seems we really timed it right as it was fully booked. We walked down an alley to find a very charming, authentic restaurant where we were greeted and seated by a friendly and welcoming gentleman. The food was second to none, fresh and authentic and extremely tasty. Very efficient service, couldn’t fault any of it. 80 for three courses, two alcoholic drinks and one non-alcoholic drink. Really great prices. Will absolutely be back if we ever find ourselves in the area.
Great little family Italian restaurant in Bowness on Windermere. Friendly attentive service delicious well presented traditional food. Reasonable prices and interesting cuisine with good specials board. Booking advised as it’s quite small. Recommended !
Came here after reading reviews and I was not disappointed! I had booked ahead and was when I arrived I was warmly greated and seated immediately. Food was incredibly tasty and eaten entirely! I had the goats cheese salad, pollo marengo and the chef recommended desert. Vanilla sponge, cherry compte and vanilla ice cream. The house rose helped it all go down!
